Our history:
Shelter Cove Publishing began in 1998
when Mike was looking for a publisher
for his first non-fiction book, Hand Troller,
and Mim was looking for a way to sell her
photo notecards. We decided to learn
about “desktop publishing,” make them
ourselves, and do our own marketing. This website reflects our growth.
Our name comes from a favorite quiet cove on Kuiu Island in Southeast Alaska.
